vacation home?
A1 - It is inside a lockbox with keypad in front of the house. The
number for the keypad will be e-mailed
to
you.
Q2 - On which side of Highway 1
are the "Sea Pine Cottage" and the "Honeymoon Cottage"
located?
A2 - The "Sea Pine Cottage" is located on the West side
(ocean side), "Honeymoon Cottage" is
located
on the East side.
Q3 - Are there restaurants,
grocery and other convenience stores in Sea Ranch or nearby?
A3 - The small, coastal town of Gualala, just north of Sea Ranch has a variety
of restaurants,
hotels, two
big grocery stores, a drug store, video place, hardware stores, boutiques,
galleries,
a gas station and a Post
Office.
The distance from "Sea
Pine Cottage" to Gualala is 3 miles, from "Honeymoon Cottage 5 miles.
Q4 - Is
there a fee to use any of the 3 Swim/Sauna & Tennis Court Centers in Sea
Ranch?
A4 - No, as registered guests of a vacation rental home, you can go to any of
these facilities with
the passes, which are available for
you inside the home.
Q5 - How long does it take to get
to Sea Ranch from San Francisco?
A5 - The driving time from the Golden Gate Bridge/San Francisco is about 3
hours.
Q6 - Do the "Sea Pine
Cottage" or the "Honeymoon Cottage" have DVD/CD and VCR
Players?
A6 - Yes, both homes have DVD/CD Universal Players, VCR, TV, and
"Linkwitz Lab Loudspeakers".
Q7 - Can I swim in the Pacific
Ocean at Sea Ranch?
A7 - No, the ocean water is too cold. But there are 3 Swimming Pool Facilities
in Sea Ranch, which you
can use free of charge with the pass
from your vacation home.
Q8 - Can I rent a bicycle
and ride on the trails around Sea Ranch?
A8 - Please bring your own bicycle, there is no rental place at Sea Ranch
or Gualala. You may use your bike
on horse trails and any paved street
or road. Sorry, no longer any bikes on regular trails, because of
erosion.
Q9 - Is smoking allowed in
Sea Ranch?
A9 - Some vacation home owners might allow smoking inside their homes or
premises. Please check with
the owners prior
to arriving in Sea Ranch.
No smoking is allowed on any Sea
Ranch trail at any time.
Q10 - Where is the 18 Hole
Championship Golf Course located, and what is the phone number?
A10 - The Golf Course is on the North-West end of Sea Ranch. There is a sign on
Highway One to turn left.
